4th Conference of Computational Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS 2016)

This conference, sponsored every two years by the Pan-American Association on Computational Interdisciplinary Sciences (PACIS), aims to be a meeting place of researchers and students working in areas of science that use scientific computing in their research projects. CCIS 2016 seeks, in an innovative way, a broader dialog, which is inherently inter- and multidisciplinary, where researchers from different areas can share their experiences and find solutions to their computational problems. A special session on Computational Astrophysics and Cosmology is included, with presentations welcome on Big data and Big Science in Astronomy (hardware, software and human resources); and Scientific Computing in Space Physics (simulation and modeling for gas, plasmas and gravity).
