Astrostatistics at the Joint Statistical Meeting 2014

The annual JSM meetings are very large gatherings of statisticians from North America that have historically sponsored sessions on astrostatistics. This year there are two sessions of invited papers -- Bayesian Astrostatistics and Big Data in Astro-Statistics -- and introductory overview lecture, and a business meeting of the new Astrostatistics Interest Group of the American Statistical Association. The initial meeting of the recently approved ASA Astrostatistics Interest Group will also take place.
