Conference on non-stationarity

A crucial assumption underlying most time series methods is that of stationarity implying that the long-term behavior of the process is stable and enables deriving ergodic theorems. The aim of this conference is to bring together scientists to discuss models and methods that are not based on the assumption of stationarity. Important topics include nonstationary periodic models, inclusion of covariates and regression modeling based on shape constraints. We will bring together scientists from applied fields to show the wide applicability of the new methodology, including astrophysics. The conference is held at the University of Cergy-Pontoise outside Paris FR.
