SAMSI-SAVI Workshop on Astrostatistics

This three day workshop will bring together astrophysicists and statisticians to brainstorm on advanced topics in statistical inference in the context of modern empirical astrophysics. This is one of the workshops of a several-month cross-disciplinary research program at the NSF-sponsored Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) as part of their 2012-2013 Program on Statistical and Computational Methodology for Massive Datasets. Travel funding is available.
