Virtual town hall on Scalable Cyberinfrastructure to support Multi-Messenger Astrophysics (SCiMMA)

Recent breakthrough observations of GW170817A and IceCube-170922A highlight the promise, opportunities and challenges of the emerging field of Multi-Messenger Astrophysics (MMA). The Community Planning for Scalable Cyberinfrastructure to support Multi-Messenger Astrophysics (SCiMMA; https://scimma.org) project invites interested physicists, astronomers, computer scientists, data scientists and others to participate in an NSF-funded community planning project to understand and document the cyberinfrastructure needs to realize the promise of MMA. The Town Halls will occur: 11 December 2018 at 11:00 US/Central and 18 December 2018 at 14:00 US/Central. Join via Zoom from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android.
